Couldn't they have saved his adoptive mother? I have to say that the best actor in it was the child; it's a pity to see his future acting career marred by the poor and rigid performance of Nick. The plot revolves around how the government deals with its population when climate change and other factors cause such harm that resources become scarce and the divide between the haves and have-nots becomes uncrossable.
